Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
The writ petition preferred by him for consideration of his claim for absorption was disposed of with the direction to the competent authority to pass appropriate orders in respect of his claim as far as possible within a period of two months.
On the record, the Court finds that although the opposite party has initiated proceedings, the same have not been brought to a closure nor have final orders been passed.
Bearing in mind the fact that the order itself was passed as far back as on 28.07.2017, this petition shall stand disposed of at this stage with a direction to the opposite party to conclude the proceedings initiated and to pass final orders in respect of the claim of the applicant not later than within two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Contempt petition stands disposed of in terms of the aforesaid directions.
