The petitioner is an eye witness to a heinous crime. He claims that he is under direct threat of his life and therefore is entitled for such protection as may be permissible under law.

Let the claim of the petitioner be examined in terms of the Government Order dated 9.5.2014 by the District Level Committee, district Hamirpur.

Under the aforesaid Government Order, an appropriate order be passed within three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before the concerned authority.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
