Shah, learned AGP for the respondent has, on instruction from Mr. S.S. Parekh, Under Secretary, Revenue Department, who is present in the Court, submitted that the Departmental Promotion Committee is not likely to meet before 20.6.2012.

Having regard to the above stipulation by the learned AGP hearing of the petition is adjourned to 15.6.2012 with a clarification that if meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee is convened before the said date then it will be open to the petitioner to request for preponing the date of hearing.
