A bare perusal of the first information report indicates that the first information report had been lodged on the letter written by the Project Director and consequential letter has been issued from the office of Block Development Officer, Nawabganj, Bareilly.
The allegations in the first information report regarding the alleged forgery committed by the petitioners herein in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in financial year 2020-2021 are clear and categorical. The petitioners were posted in the office concerned.
The correctness of the allegations in the first information report cannot be examined within the scope of Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Any interference at this stage may impede the speedy investigation.
The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed.
