JUDGMENT / ORDER

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner has been in custody for the period from 21.07.2013 onwards. This is a case in which he had allegedly committed the murder of his wife Vinodini as she was not ready and willing to withdraw a criminal case filed by her against him. Over and above it, he had attacked the mother of the deceased also and very serious injuries were inflicted on the mother by stabbing with a knife when she intervened for the rescue of her daughter. She was also attempted to be done away with.
3. His repeated attempts to get enlarged on bail have become futile as those applications were dismissed repeatedly by the court below as well as this Court.
4. The matter is pending trial before the Additional BA.6672/2014 : 2 :
Sessions Court-I, Alappuzha as S.C.No.330/2014. The learned Additional Sessions Judge has reported that the matter can be disposed of within a period of six months. This is not a fit case wherein the petitioner can be enlarged on bail. The learned Additional Sessions Judge shall dispose of the matter, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six months from today.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed with the aforesaid observations.
