ORDER:
Heard.
2. Petitioner alleges that he filed a complaint, which is registered as Crime No.604 of 2013 on the file of Medipally Police station and pending before respondent No.3 police station. Alleging that no steps are taken by the said respondent in completing the investigation, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the aforesaid crime was registered on 26.11.2013, wherein petitioner alleges that he was cheated for Rs.20,000/- and Rs.22,000/- by respondent Nos.5 and 4 respectively. However, it is further stated that against the petitioner Crime Nos.458 of 2013 and 657 of 2013 are pending on the file of same police station and all the criminal cases are under investigation. So far as the present crime is concerned, it is stated that petitioner was required to furnish copy of the agreement and related documents in order to proceed with the investigation, but the petitioner failed to produce the same and is not cooperating with the investigating agency. It is also stated that the complainant as well as the accused informed the police that they are amicably settling the matter. However, it is stated that police will take appropriate steps expeditiously and complete the investigation.
4. Since the petitioner is required to appear before respondent No.3 and submit the copies of the agreement and other related documents, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent No.3 to record his statement, furnish all the documents, on which he relies, to enable respondent No.3 to take up and complete the investigation expeditiously.
