----------------------- The petitioners approached this Court challenging Ext.P9 series notices issued by the 1st respondent. By the above notices, the petitioners are directed to produce the vehicles mentioned therein. It seems that cases have been registered against the petitioners under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. The petitioner submits that their vehicles are not involved in any offence under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 2. Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the petitioners to produce the vehicles before the 1st respondent on or before 31.12.2014. On production, the vehicles shall not be detained. The vehicles shall be released to the petitioners on executing a simple bond with two sureties for each vehicle.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
