JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 6
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 17900 of 2018 Petitioner :- Bijendra Sharma And 2 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Deepak Rana,Santosh Kumar Pandey Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
Bearing in mind the seriousness of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, the Court finds no ground warranting interference in the impugned order of suspension that too when the petitioner belongs to a disciplined force.
The interim order passed in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 20053 of 2018 does not in any manner detract from the seriousness of the charges.
The writ petition fails and is dismissed.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction being issued for expeditious conclusion of the enquiry contemplated.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents states that subject to the petitioner cooperating in the enquiry proceedings and not taking any unnecessary adjournments, all endeavour shall be made by the respondents to conclude the enquiry proceedings with expedition and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
The statement so made is recorded and accepted.
