(ORAL) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a mandamus directing the respondent to enquire into the matter and stop the supply of essential commodities to the licensee, Smt. Durga Devi, w/o Sri Jamuna Prasad arrayed as respondent No. 5 in this writ petition.
In pursuance of the suspension order dated 13.09.2017, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that even after the fair price shop licence of respondent No. 5 has been suspended, the supply of essential commodities to her is still continuing and she has been allowed to function. The petitioner has already made representation in this regard on 05.06.2014 to the Licensing Authority as well as to the District Magistrate, Kasganj, but no orders have been passed.
Without entering into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Kasganj to look into the matter and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
