Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ramakant Dubey, learned standing counsel for the State- Respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer for a direction to second respondent to decide the application of the petitioner dated 30.3.2018 regarding settlement of fisheries rights over the pond in question strictly in accordance with law, within stipulated period.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the second respondent to decide the aforesaid application in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and in case there is no other legal impediment, then the authority may proceed to finalise the proceeding for settling the fisheries rights over the pond in question in accordance with law.
