Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The present writ petition has been filed alleging that despite the petitioner being eligible his name does not appear in the promotion list dated 9.1.2018 issued by the respondent no. 2. The petitioner also placed on record the order dated 30.12.2014 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition) wherein censure entry was given against the petitioner. There is no averment in the writ petition that there is either any discrimination or illegality in the promotion list published or that the petitioner's rights have been violated in any manner.
In view thereof, petition lacks merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
The respondents will, however, consider the promotion as and when the same falls due in future in accordance with law.
