HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.15064 of 2014 ORDER:
The petitioner is a registered society. For the purpose of its day-to-day activities, the petitioner has opened Bank Account bearing No.CA 62233822414 in State Bank of Hyderabad, Ramachandrapuram Branch, BHEL, Hyderabad. The grievance of the petitioner is that the bank is not allowing the petitioner to operate the account. No reasons are assigned as to why the petitioner is not allowed to operate the account opened by him. As it is causing lot of inconvenience in attending to the activities of the society, on behalf of the society the President submitted a representation on 24.05.2014. So far, no orders are passed and till date, the petitioner is not allowed to operate the account.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the respondent bank to pass orders on the representation submitted on 24.05.2014.
3. Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage without expressing any opinion directing the Chief Manager, State Bank of Hyderabad, Ramachandrapuram Branch, BHEL, Hyderabad (1st respondent) to pass orders on the representation, dated 24.05.2014, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
