JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. In this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer clause 7 reads as under:
(b) Your Lordship may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus, or any other writ, order or direction respondent authority to decide the applications for Development Permission (vide receipt No. 4609 to 4678) submitted by present petitioners immediately.
(c) Pending hearing, admission and final disposal of this petition, your Lordship may be pleased to allow present petitioners to develop the lands in question.
2. In answer to the notice, learned advocate for the respondent-Municipality states that the application preferred by the petitioner will be decided in accordance with law at the earliest.
3. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent-Municipality to decide the application preferred by the petitioner and with regard to subject prayer as expeditiously as possible and preferably not later than eight weeks from today.
