Petitioner has superannuated from the employment in UP Jal Nigam on 30.06.2007. It is stated that subsequent in point of time pay scale has been retrospectively enhanced pursuant to Sixth Pay Commission Report from 01.01.2006. Petitioner has already approached the competent authority for grant of benefit of revised salary as also for re-fixation of his pension and for payment of arrears of salary and pension etc. Grievance is that though sufficient time has expired but no decision has yet been taken, hence this petition.
Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent in accordance with law at the earliest.
In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, noticed above, and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of copy of this order.
