It prima facie appears that the respondent Corporation has not even conveyed the order whether the application of the petitioner is rejected or not and as observed by this Court (Coram: K.M. Thaker, J.) vide order dated 15.3.2013, for the first time it was brought to the notice of this Court that the application is rejected. Affidavits before a Court of law would not be a substitute of passing an order on an application for compassionate appointment and/or lumpsum compensation as per the policy of the Government dated 5.7.2011 which is admittedly adopted by the respondent Corporation. Direct service is permitted.
