Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Krishna Agarwal, learned Standing Counsel for respondents no. 2 & 3.
Grievance of the petitioner is that despite having completed all necessary formalities for getting electricity connection to run a tubewell as long back as on 28.4.2017, till date connection has not been granted and the representation made by him in this regard on 24.8.2017 has not been decided by the department.
Sri Krishna Agarwal, learned Standing Counsel for respondents no. 2 & 3 fairly states that in case any such representation is pending proper decision in accordance with law shall be taken thereon by the concerned authority within two weeks.
In view of above, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent no. 2, Executive Engineer, Power Distribution Division, Chitrakoot Dham, Karvi, district Chitrakoot to take appropriate decision on the representation made by the petitioner seeking electricity connection for running tubewell within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
