1. Bar Council of India, rep. by its Secretary, New Delhi & another.
… Respondents * * * HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.23802 of 2010
O R D E R:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the first respondent.
2. This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the first respondent in issuing the letter bearing No.BCI 1280/2010 (IE) dated 06.09.2010, intimating that the application of the petitioner college for extension of approval of affiliation for the academic year 2010-2011 will be considered for the next academic year i.e., 2011-2012.
3. Though this writ petition was admitted on 05.10.2010, there was no interim order for all these years and the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the first respondent submits that from the academic year 2011-2012 onwards students are being allotted and the cause of action in the writ petition does not survive as of now.
4. Recording the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No costs.
