Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2, Deputy Registrar, Trade Unions/Deputy Labour Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur Region to take a decision over the return of election dated 8.3.2021 submitted on Form 'J' as provided under Section 28 of Trade Union Act, 1926 read with regulation 17(A) of U.P. Trade Union Regulations, 1927, within a stipulated time (Annexure No.9 to the petition).
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall take appropriate decision.
In view thereof, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition is being finally disposed of directing that the second respondent, Deputy Registrar, Trade Unions/Deputy Labour Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur Region, shall consider and decide the pending Form 'J' by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, expeditiously within two months from the date of filing of copy of this order along with copy of Form 'J'.
