THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Respondents No.2 and 3 have filed their objection statement.
2. The learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for respondent No.1 has filed a memo dated 01.03.2017. Along with the memo, the documents enclosed would indicate that the respondent No.1 has received the intimation dated 17.02.2017 from the Court of the IV Additional C.M.M., Bangalore in Crime No.32/2015 directing the Passport Issuing Authority to impound the passport of the petitioner herein.
3. In that view of the matter, the prayer as made in the petition seeking for mandamus would not arise as the petitioner if aggrieved would have to avail the remedies in accordance with law to assail the orders passed in the criminal proceedings which are pending against the petitioner.
Reserving such liberty to the petitioner, the petition stands disposed of.
