THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, B.S.PATIL J, MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER 1. This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of habeas corpus to direct release of the detenue by name H.K.Praveena @ Khandya Praveena.
2. Petitioner claims to be the relative of detenue. It is alleged that the detenue was illegally taken into custody by the police pursuant to the order of detention.
3. Today, this matter is listed for non-compliance of office objections. Sri P.P.Hegde, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the State Government has withdrawn the order of detention and the detenue has been released and therefore, this writ petition is not pressed.
4. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
