Heard Sri J.S.Pandey holding brief of Sri Tarun Varma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anil Babu, learned counsel for the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner was working as 'Ardali' in the Gorakhpur Judgeship and died in harness on 06.10.2018. It is submitted that the petitioner applied for compassionate appointment before the District Judge, Gorakhpur on 30.01.2019. It is further submitted that the petitioner was called upon to appear before a Committee on 23.02.2019 for consideration of his claim, since then the claim of the petitioner is still pending for consideration. In this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 30.01.2019 before the respondent no.1, which is still pending.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the present case, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent no.1 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
