It is alleged that the petitioner was initially appointed on adhoc basis on 7.7.1997 and his services have subsequently been regularised on 15.5.2017, under an order passed by the Joint Director of Education, Aligarh, based upon the recommendation of the Regional Level Committee. Submission is that the petitioner is entitled to payment of selection grade upon completion of 10 years services and thereafter promotional pay scale but such benefits have not been extended to him.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner for grant of selection grade would be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for grant of selection grade and other service benefits by passing a reasoned order, after affording an opportunity hearing to respondent no. 4, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
