The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the respondent authority to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 17.11.2017.
A perusal of the representation shows that the petitioners attained the age of superannuation in the age of 58 years. Later on, UP Jal Nigam has issued a Circular dated 12.2.2014 stating therein that the employees who were directed to be retired at the age of 58 years, their other post retiral dues would be counted treating them in the service of 60 years. The petitioners are also entitled to the benefit of Circular dated 12.2.2014 as such they moved representation in this respect on 17.11.2017 and 6.2.2018 but no order has been passed on it.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction to Executive Engineer, respondent-4 to decide the representations of the petitioners by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
