Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is that a suit under Section 229-B of the UP Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act instituted by her is pending consideration since the year 2013.
Perusal of the order sheet of the proceedings along with the writ petition reveals that the suit is pending at the stage of evidence.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Sub Divisional Officer (in short 'SDO'), Sadar, Mau to consider and decide the Suit No. 120 of 2013-14 (Sarju & another vs. Kanhaiya Lal & Others) expeditiously, preferably within a period of 10 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
