The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No. 537 of 2004 instituted by the petitioners against the defendants-respondents within a specified time frame.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that issues were framed in the suit long back on 22.08.2008 but the proceedings have yet not been concluded.
Having regard to the above facts and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to decide the suit expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
