Heard Sri Ramanand Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Saumya Mandhyan, for respondent no. 4 and the learned standing counsel for the State.
The petitioner has preferred this petition, seeking a writ of mandamus, commanding the respondent concerned to decide his representation dated 2.6.2020, in the light of the Government Order dated 14.2.2019 (Annexure-2 to the writ petition).
Learned counsel for the respondents state that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending, same be disposed of by giving appropriate direction to the respondent/competent authority concerned.
This writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.4 to decide the pending representation dated 14.2.2019, or a fresh representation, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 6 weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law, by a reasoned / speaking order, under intimation to the petitioner.
