Sri Arun Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Amit Sinha, learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents and perused the material on record.
The limited grievance in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the police authorities to conduct fair and impartial investigation in respect of Crime No. 0120 of 2019, under Sections 363, 366 of IPC and Section 7/8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, P.S. Barnahal, District Mainpuri.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that though his daughter has returned back with him but till date police has not arrested respondent no. 4, Ajay Kumar alias Mulayam and, therefore, suitable direction be issued.
State counsel submits that respondent no. 4 has already taken liberty from this Court for filing anticipatory bail application and this could be a reason that he could not be traceable.
Be that as it may, once the offence has been registered against respondent no. 4, it is expected from the police authorities to act in accordance with law.
Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
