JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 29.09.2016 and 25.02.2017, seeking enquiry outside the jurisdiction of the third respondent within the stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.V.Pandi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:-
? Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioner, dated 29.09.2016 and 25.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
6. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
