This is a petition filed under Section 24 of C.P.C. seeking transfer of O.P.(DIV)No. 1173/2013 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta to the Family Court, Ernakulam.
2. Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and various proceedings were initiated by both the parties. Three matters namely, M.C.No. 42/2013, O.P.No. 221/2012 and O.P.No. 671/2013 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta have already been transferred to the Family Court, Ernakulam. What now remains is O.P.No.1173/2013 before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta. The petitioner pointed out that in the interest of both the parties, the said matter be transferred to the Family Court, Ernakulam and be disposed of along with other petitions.

3. The respondent has served with notice, but he has not entered appearance.
4. In the light of the fact that the three matters pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta have already been transferred to the Family Court Ernakulam, there is no reason as to why the present prayer should be rejected.
Accordingly, this petition is allowed and O.P.(DIV)No. 1173/2013 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta shall stand transferred to the Family Court, Ernakulam.
