When the matter was posted on 24.09.2014, in view of absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directed the matter to be listed in Dassera vacation. Once again, on 08.10.2014 also there was no representation for the petitioner when the matter was listed. Subsequently, on 15.10.2014, none appeared for the petitioner, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’. Even today, when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session, none appeared, as such, this Court passed over the matter and even in the post-lunch session now none appears for the petitioner. This indicates that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition.
For the aforesaid reasons, writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
