JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner's father Varkey was a licensee of Ration Shop at Thankamani in Idukki District. After the death of the father of the petitioner, the licence was transferred in the name of the mother of the petitioner. The petitioner has approached this Court challenging Ext.P3 order passed by the District Supply Officer, Idukki awarding licence to conduct ration shop to the mother of the petitioner. 2. Learned Government Pleader made available an affidavit sworn by the petitioner giving consent to avail licence for conducting ration shop in favour of his mother. This affidavit was signed by the petitioner on 13.1.2012.
3. In view of the consent issued by the petitioner, he cannot turn around and submit that the award of licence in favour of his mother is illegal. The petitioner is estopped by his conduct.
W.P.(C).No. 27281 of 2014
