When the matter was called on 12.06.2014, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed after a week and once again on 09.06.2014 also in view of the absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioners, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’ on 20.06.2014 i.e., today. Today also, when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session, none appeared for the petitioners, as such, this Court passed over the matter and even in the post-lunch session when the matter is called, there is no appearance for the petitioners herein.
In the circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed. No costs.
