The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the District Magistrate / President, District Rural Development Agency , respondent-3 to ensure payment of gratuity of the petitioner in pursuance of the order dated 30.10.2017 passed by Chief Development Officer, Azamgarh.
The petitioner has moved a representation in this respect before District Magistrate. A perusal of the representation shows that petitioner retired from service from the post of Typist -Clerk on 31.10.2017. Although Chief Development Officer has directed for payment of gratuity but it has not been paid till today.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Magistrate / President, District Rural Development Agency , respondent-3 to decide the representation of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
