JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the revenue authorities in considering the application for effecting mutation of the property purchased by him in terms of Ext.P1 sale deed. According to the petitioner, the reason for rejection was that all the legal heirs of the deceased owner were not parties to Ext.P1 sale deed.
2. True that the right of the petitioner will be subject to any challenge by the legal heirs of the deceased who is the owner of the land but that does not mean that he is not entitled to pay land tax based on Ext.P1 sale deed.
In the said circumstances, there will be a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
