JUDGMENT / ORDER

A.M.Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this court seeking police protection. 2. According to them, they are having an estate where rubber saplings were planted. The complaint of the petitioner is that the party respondents tried to trespass into the property to cut open a pathway through their plantation. On a complaint of the petitioner, a crime has already been registered as crime No.1043 of 2014 and investigation is in progress. The petitioner thereafter filed Ext.P5, further complaining that there is threat to the workers of the petitioner by party respondents and their men.
3. Learned State Attorney on instructions submitted that Ext.P5 complaint dated 30.10.2014 was given immediately after registration of the FIR. On enquiry, it was found that there is no further threat as alleged in Ext. P5 complaint.

4. Having regard to the above submissions we do not think there is any reason to grant any direction as sought for. However, we observe that if any offence is committed, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the police, who shall look into the same and do the needful.
With this observation, the writ petition is closed.
