Basant Ram Tiwari vs State Of U P And Others

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|27 October, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 6
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 23092 of 2018 Petitioner :- Basant Ram Tiwari Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard Sri Anil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
Undisputedly, the petitioner was terminated from service on 6 September 2008. It is also not disputed before this Court that the petitioner never worked after the said date. The writ petition is completely silent and carries no explanation for the inordinate laches in approaching this Court. All that is contended is that the present petition has been preferred only after receiving a response under the Right to Information Act, 2005, in 2018.
In view of the above, this Court finds no ground which may warrant condoning the inordinate laches.
The petition is consequently dismissed on laches.
Order Date :- 27.10.2018 Arun K. Singh (Yashwant Varma, J.)
