Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Kunal Ravi Singh, learned counsel for the respondent.
The reasons recorded by the Appellate Authority by imposing the penalty of Rs. 25,000/- is justified. However on the quantum the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the petitioner is a Public Information Officer in Civil Defence and there was no malice on his part nor the same is even mentioned in the impugned order, hence in view of the aforesaid, this Court finds proper that penalty be released to Rs. 5,000/- from Rs. 25,000/-.
The writ petition is disposed of.
