The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing respondents to recalculate the amount of gratuity of the petitioners in parity with the other similarly situated employees. The petitioners retired from the post of Seasonal Clerk on 31.7.2010 although their gratuity has been paid but according to them it was not fully paid to the petitioners. In this respect they have made a representation which is pending before Secretary, Cane Cooperative Societies, district Budaun. (respondent-4).
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Secretary, Cane Cooperative Societies, district Budaun (respondent-4) to decide the representation of the petitioners by a reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
