The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the Appellate Court to decide Appeal No. 69 of 2013 expeditiously.
It appears from the order-sheet that the appeal was dismissed in default on 17.04.2018. It has now been restored by order dated 08.08.2019.
Having regard to the facts of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the Appellate Court to make serious endeavour to decide the appeal expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
