THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri G.Balakrishna Shastry, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr.Sridhar N. Hegde, learned High Court Government Pleader for the respondents.
The writ petition is admitted for hearing. With consent of the parties, the same is heard finally.
2. In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a) To issue writ of mandamus or any other writ or directions directing the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner as per Annexure-A dated
respondents to pay the difference of amount due to the petitioner under the claim bills submitted to the Respondents.
(b) Direct the respondents to pay interest at 14% on the amount due to the petitioner from the dates the amount fell due.”
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide its representations as aforestated by a speaking order within a period of two months.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider the representations of the petitioner within period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
