ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“ to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and declare the action of the respondents in not releasing the union membership subscription amount of the petitioners duly considering the representation made by the petitioners dated 24-06- 2014 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, apart from being violative of principles of natural justice and consequently, to direct the respondents to release the union subscription amounts of the petitioners forthwith.”
After arguing the case, Sri Venkata Rangadas Kanuri, learned counsel for the petitioners, upon realising that the Writ Petition, for the relief claimed therein, is not maintainable, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to his clients to avail any other remedy available to them in law.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed a withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners in terms of the prayer made.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.26342 of 2014 filed by the petitioners for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
