By order dated 14.3.2018 in Writ-A No.58697 of 2014, this Court permitted the applicant to file appeal within one month and in the event appeal is filed, the same was directed to be decided within four months of filing of the appeal.
Counsel for the applicant points out that in terms of liberty granted by this Court, appeal was filed on 22.3.2018 but no decision has been taken in the matter.
Hardly four months have passed since filing of appeal and applicant has rushed to this Court in contempt proceeding. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the contempt application at this stage but in case appeal is not decided within next two months, it shall be open to the applicant to approach this Court by way of fresh petition.
The applicant shall file certified copy of this order before the Secretary, Basic Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad within one week from today.
The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
