The petitioner claims to have retired from the post of Lecturer on 30.4.2018. He has filed the instant petition claiming difference in salary for the period he was under suspension. According to the petitioner, the suspension order was ultimately revoked and he was permitted to work and thereafter he retired. The representation made by the petitioner for payment of full salary during suspension period dated 6.2.2016 has not been disposed of so far. The petitioner has, therefore, filed the instant petition seeking a mandamus against the respondents.
Learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no.1, 2 and 3 and Sri D.K. Mishra appearing on behalf of respondent no.4 state that respondent no.2 would be competent to take decision in the matter.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the instant petition is disposed of by directing respondent no.2 to accord consideration to the representation of the petitioner dated 6.2.2016 by passing a speaking order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order alongwith photo copy of the representation dated 6.2.2016.
