Mr.Hiren M.Modi, learned advocate for the Official Liquidator has drawn the attention of the Court to paragraph 14 of the Report dated 12-7-2012 wherein it has been mentioned that the Official Liquidator has addressed a letter dated 23-1-2012 to the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range 4,Ashram Road, Ahmedabad with regard to the payment of Income Tax/capital gain tax or any other amount payable under the law to the Income Tax Department. It is submitted that, till date, no reply has been received from the Income Tax Department.
Mr.Hiren M.Modi,learned advocate for the Official Liquidator submits that some time may be granted to send a reminder to the Income Tax Department.
