THESE WRIT APPEALS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, B.VEERAPPA J., DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
J U D G M E N T 1. These intra court appeals are preferred by the Bangalore University against the order dated 04.09.2018 passed in W.P.Nos.46198-46205/2013 whereby the learned Single Judge of this Court has permitted respondent nos.1 to 8 herein to make a representation afresh to the appellant and on such representation being made, the appellant-University is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders taking into consideration extension of similar benefit to others as stated in para 5 therein with regard to the order passed in W.P.No.8300/2002 which was confirmed in W.A.No.713/2007.
2. Sri T.P.Rajendra Kumar Sungay, learned counsel for the appellant submits that in pursuance of the order passed by the learned Single Judge, the appellant-University has issued an endorsement dated 08.04.2019 which is produced along with a memo filed in Court today. Hence, the appeals filed against the impugned order have become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ appeals are disposed of as having become infructuous.
3. Respondent nos.1 to 8 herein are at liberty to challenge the aforesaid endorsement issued by the University, if need be, in accordance with law.
4. In view of disposal of the appeals, question of considering the delay of 165 days in filing the appeals does not arise; IA.No.2/2019 is disposed of. I.A.No.3/2019 filed for interim stay also stands disposed of.
