This petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ Group this day, the Court made the following:-
O R D E R The petitioner has sought for the following reliefs in the writ petition:
1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction directing the second and third respondents to act on the representation given by the petitioner as at Annexure-D dated 14.03.2017;
2. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction directing the second and third respondents to act on the representation given by the petitioner as at Annexure-F dated 21.04.2017.
2. The petitioner is claiming to be a society registered under the provisions of the Karnataka State Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 established with the principal object of espousing the grievances of Auto drivers before various forums.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the representations submitted before the respondents- Authorities has remained unconsidered.
4. Learned HCGP appearing for the respondents has fairly and rightly submits that the representations of the petitioner shall be considered by respondent No.3 in accordance with law within a time frame.
5. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is of the considered opinion that interest of justice would be sub- served in directing the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner at Annexures-D and F dated 14.03.2017 and 21.04.2017, respectively and take a decision in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in an expedite manner, in any event, not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order. Ordered accordingly.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
