THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION No. 114 of 2014 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) After hearing the learned counsel for the parties appearing before us, we think that this matter does not require to be decided at this stage inviting affidavits. Suffice it to say that if a complaint said to have been made, the same has to be looked into by the appropriate authority.
We therefore direct the 2nd respondent to treat a copy of this writ petition as a representation and enquire into the same. On enquiry, if it is found that the complaint made by the petitioner is justified in law, he shall take appropriate legal action, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
