While the petitioner was posted as Sub-Inspector in Moradabad, he was transferred to Firozabad by the order dated 26th July, 2011. It is stated that the petitioner joined at Firozabad but he moved a representation dated 21st February, 2012 for transferring him to his home district Kannauaj or some adjoining district for the reason that he has less than one year's service left and his wife is also engaged as an Aangabadi Karyakatri in district Kannauj. The relief pressed for by learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing of this petition is that is that the representation dated 21st February, 2012 filed by the petitioner may be decided.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents states that the representation filed by the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously.
This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the representation filed by the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case which shall be examined by the authority concerned in accordance with law.
