The prayer in this petition is to command the second respondent (Chairman/President, Board of Revenue, U.P. at Lucknow) to take an appropriate decision on the application of the petitioners dated 4.10.2019 within a stipulated period. The second prayer of the petitioner is to command the Respondent No.2 to issue necessary direction to the revenue authorities not to interfere in the peaceful possession of the petitioners over plot No. 402/2.
It has not been demonstrated as to under what statutory provision the second respondent would have authority to issue any such direction, as has been prayed for.
It has also not been disclosed that any legal proceeding is pending before the second respondent.
Under the circumstances the prayer made is misconceived and petition is dismissed.
