This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the Court concerned to dispose of proceedings of S.C.C. Suit No. 6 of 2016 pending in the Court of Judge Small Causes Court, Sahasranpur. It is stated that the respondents have appeared but the proceedings are being routinely adjourned. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed, notice need not be issued to the Opp. Party.
Proceedings initiated by the petitioners are summary in nature and, therefore, ought to be disposed of expeditiously.
This petition, therefore, stands disposed of with a direction upon the Court concerned to make all endeavours to conclude the proceedings, expeditiously, by fixing fortnightly date, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, except on payment of costs to the tune of Rs. 500/- per date.
